MONTY TECH,MassHire North Central is inviting Employers to our upcoming CTI Hiring Event at Monty Tech, (1050 Westminster St, Fitchburg, MA 01420) Tuesday, June 6, 2023 at 5:15PM for both the CNC Operating & Welding Cohorts as a one-on-one introduction to a handful of highly recommended prospects, who are approaching graduation and are actively seeking employment!
CNC OPERATOR
CNC Operator course will prepare students for a career in the exciting field of Computer Numerical Controlled manufacturing. This course will cover metrology, OSHA safety, CNC milling and lathe set up, CNC programming, Print reading and basic CAD, career opportunities.
Upon completion of this course students will be ready to enter into the workforce and will have had the opportunity to earn credentials in OSHA 10 hour and NC3 certifications in measuring technology.
WELDING
Course covers Safety, Principles of Welding, Gas Metal Arc Welding, Shielded Metal Arc Welding, Flux Cored Arc Welding, Gas Tungsten Arc Welding, and Blueprint Reading.
The program featured a hybrid learning format, incorporating instructor-led online welding fundamentals. Topics covered were welding theory, process, safety, and hands-on practical welding instruction in our state-of-the-art welding lab. With over 190 hours of hands-on training, students now have the safety knowledge and skills to join the field of Welding.
Students are eligible to receive the following Industry-Recognized Credentials:
- NFPA Hot Work Safety Certification
- OSHA 10-Hour Construction Certification
- American Welding Society (AWS) Endorsement
